This is a totally indulgent, hot sandwich. Layers of Finlandia Swiss Cheese, bacon, turkey, tomatoes, and pesto are stuffed between hearty white bread slices. Then the whole sandwich is quickly fried in olive oil to a perfect golden brown. Get ready to savor the flavor, and just say no to dessert!

4 slices
semolina or other hearty white bread
3 tbsp
prepared pesto
8 slices
5 Oz
thinly sliced deli turkey, warmed
8 slices
tomato, well drained on paper towel
pure olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Divide pesto evenly between bread slices. Top one slice with 2 slices of Finlandia Swiss Cheese, about half of the deli turkey, tomato slices, and bacon, and another 2 slices of cheese. Top with another bread slice, pesto side down. Repeat with remaining ingredients for second sandwich.
  2. Heat about 1 to 2 tablespoons pure olive oil in a 10" non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pan fry the sandwiches until dark golden brown and warmed through, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  3. With a serrated knife, cut sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
